Isn't he just the CUTEST?! I can hardly stand it. He's gonna be my hubby :) Lucky me!

Saturday is Chase and I's day for adventure. No school, no work = PLAY! We live on a gorgeous island with endless beauty. You will often find Chase and I riding the streets of the North Shore on our beloved bicycles. They are all we got, and boy are we grateful. So this past Saturday we decided to go on an adventure.

Excited, obviously! Scary looking? Probably.

The grass mosquito haven

In Laie (where we live) there is this fun little hike just down the street and up a mountain called Laie Falls. It is actually quite long so water is a must and some little goodies for hunger. If you hike the entire thing it probably takes 3-4 hours. It begins in some mosquito infested grasslands, through an awesome forest full of pine and great camping spots, followed by some cool red dirt mountains, then into some skinny pathways covered by trees that end in either the summit overlooking Laie or a gorgeous waterfall where you can take a nice dip. This time we only made it to the cool red dirt mountains due to a time crunch. Next time we will do the entire hike!
