i love decorating our home for the holidays, and this year i decided to try and make a few decorations myself. my mom used to make all of our holiday decorations growing up, painting wood cut outs of ghosts, pumpkins, and R.I.P headstones. every holiday was so fun because our house filled to the brim with holiday cuteness.
so here is my feeble attempt to take after my mom. i got super thrifty and found some cool looking bricks on the side of the road so decided to paint them as my favorite halloween creatures. too bad i ran out of orange paint on the pumpkin. owell. i also hung some leaves i collected from my fall walk for this simple and cute garland using hemp and clothes pins. i think the table cloth and leaf garland will flow well into november. the rest of my home is filled with yummy pumpkin smelling candles, some fake spider webs, and of course pumpkins of all kinds.
