some days it's just what i need to wake up and watch the sunrise. there is something so peaceful and almost magical about watching the night turn to day. i find it to be one of the most gorgeous things we can witness in life, yet feel it is frequently overlooked.
how often do we find ourselves sleeping in, rushing off to school, skipping breakfast to hurry out the door, or driving our co-pilot route to work without even taking a moment to enjoy the beauty right outside our window. if i were a good enough artist, i would slab this beauty onto a canvas. but for now a picture will do.

sometimes in life we just need to STOP, and say hello sunshine. i'm glad hawaii has taught me that.
