ok, so i know this isn't ireland. but i couldn't help but imagine that i was there. it was a rainy, cloudy, chilly day and something about the steep cliffs jetting into the ocean, alongside the rolling green hills put me right there, la la land. la la land in ireland. maybe if there were a few sheepies roaming the hills it would have been even more convincing. can you tell i'm judging off the movie, "ps i love you?" haha, i need to go there for reals. someday . . . it's on our bucket list.
also, there is something so serene about lighthouses. on a side note, for some dumb reason i couldn't stop thinking about that scene on pretty little liars where emily kills that guy in the lighthouse. remember? lame i know. but best show ever, right? right. ok. so back to lighthouses being serene thing ;). i love the mindset it puts me in when thinking about lighthouses, and why we have them. they truly are a symbol of peace, comfort and safety. so why not throw in a few good lighthouse quotes i looked up?!

ReplyDeletei hope that PLL fans have seen that part, otherwise you may have ruined it for some hahaha. i do remember that part however. lighthouses always make me think of that scene in the RING. remember that movie? so freaky... haha.
although i'd rather be privy to your definition of lighthouses as a symbol of peace. much better.
