This was one of my favorite days ever. My sisters and I were on the hunt for a good camp site in Big Sur, so mid morning we made our way up this mountain pointing, shouting, and stopping at every possibility of prime real estate. We knew it would be a night with no campfire and we would most likely be pitching near the road, but we were stoked on the idea of camping above the clouds.

It was so beautiful, peaceful and quiet up there. We waved to other fellow campers and admired all the VW busses wishing we had Megan's vanagon. After a longer than expected day driving up and down this mountain looking for a spot we could all agree on, we ran into a rattle snake, Kylie had some kind of voo doo powers over a pretty butterfly, I got crazy on energy drinks due to mass peer pressure, and we ended up having a mini dance party and recorded it haha (never to be shared). We ended up camping roadside smashed between a family of Australians with sexy accents and a really nice Harley guy that seemed like he could protect us if anything crazy happened. All in all we went to bed with the sun and snuggled till we were all asleep. I love my sisters and our little adventures.
