waikiki stroll

the day my sisters flew out was a sad day, but a happy one nonetheless. goodbyes are often just as special as hellos. and even more heart felt. after we dropped of ky at the airport in honolulu, we still had megs for a good 6 hours. so we decided to cruise waikiki despite the heat.

we walked by the zoo wishing we could see the animals, but settled for the bench by the nearby banyan tree instead. we walked through a beach park and chase got checked out by an older man and it was the most hilarious thing i have ever seen. i mean this guy literally stopped in his tracks to stare and continue staring as he walked in the opposite direction. he lifted his sunglasses and all. and of course, my husband didn't even notice. it was hilarious. the picture above of him walking with his glasses flying off his face seriously gets me every time, too funny.

we also walked past the local aquarium and observed some fishies, and found a nearby pier to stroll down and get splashed so we wouldn't die of heat. and that's a wrap of my sister adventures! follow our never ending fun here!
