Showing my brother around "da aina" was so much fun! Oahu is so beautiful, I love exploring it time and time again each time we have friends or family visit. One of my favorite things is watching other people faces when they experience Hawaii for the first time. Pure joy I tell you.

DAY 1
We met up with Chase and Meg in Waikiki and made our way around the South side of the island back to the East side, where we live. Our top pit spots were Spitting Caves, China Walls, and Lanis beach in Haleiwa. Nothing says welcome to the island more than jumping off a massive cliff and happy turtles!
DAY 3
After catching one of the most beautiful sunsets at Pipeline on Sunday, we made sure to go back to Keikis so "the Chase's" could body surf on Monday. Not gonna lie, I think my husband hurt himself pretty bad on that one ^^^.
DAY 5
There always has to be a town day, so Wednesday we headed to Pearl Harbor in Honolulu and re-aquainted ourselves with our nation's history. I'm so glad we did this. Everyone should really go here at least once. Oh, and don't forget to go to Yogurtland afterwards! Yummmm!

DAY 7
Our last day with Chase and Megan was spent surfing at Turtle Bay and snorkeling at Sunset Beach. It was the most dreamy day and as you can see, my brother and I spent most of it butts up in the water, shelling away. Look at our mermaid loot?! It was so exciting to finally find my own cones!
With days spent in the sun and water, nights remain calm and pleasant at home here in Hawii. Tired eyes and hungry bellies call for some yummy food and special treat nights. We had a great time enjoying these moments at home with my brother and his wife, and are so glad they came to visit! And can you believe next time we will all be visitors to Hawaii?! So sad but exciting. Fun times ahead!
