My heart is so full of gratitude. I cannot even begin to thank all the people that deserve thanks. Remi has been beyond spoiled by so many. Her welcome to the earth was grand, and I truly believe she is something remarkably special. She fought to be here and be with our family, as did we, and it was nothing short of divine miracles that lead to our union.
In November when Rems was just six weeks old, our family went to my parent's house in Idaho for Thanksgiving. My mom and sisters threw an adorable baby shower with the best theme! Mexican boho fiesta!!! I LOVED IT! They nailed all my favorite things and colors beautifully. There was an adorable tassel garland above the presents, the table was lined with the cutest boho runner topped with cactus, pretty florals, and succulents. The Mexican food was AMAZING! My mom made ALL of it herself! A delicious taco salad bar, yummy sherbet float drink, jarritos, and even friend ice cream. What a dream.
Truly grateful that I was able to celebrate Remi joining our family amongst family and friends I've known since I was born. Some of my old teammates from soccer even showed up, literally brought tears to my eyes. Living far away in California is hard for me because I really miss all of those that mean so much to me back home. So for them to take the time to do this for us while we were visiting for the holidays meant more then they will ever know. Love all of you who attended, and my best friends (mom and sisters) for making us girlies feel so special and loved. Because of our amazing baby showers, I didn't have to buy diapers until Remi was 4 months old. BLESSINGS, blessings, on top of more blessings. xoxo . . .
My sis Kylie took these over Thanksgiving weekend while we were visiting Idaho. We knew we needed some photos for our Christmas card, and Remi was our special announcement to all our family and friends! We took them at Lake Lowell by my parents house, and of course the day of our shoot it was sooooo cold and windy! We did out best to move fast for our little bear cub, and she survived almost the entire time without too much crying ;). Here she is 1.5 months old!
Grateful I got to spend such a special time in Idaho for Thanksgiving. Introducing her to all her Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents, and Great Grandparents was so exciting. Remi is so, so loved and so, so adored. A true testament of answered prayers and many perfectly aligned miracles. She was definitely meant to be our baby and we can't imagine it any other way! Crazy mom love squeeze in the last photo haha, I just love her so much!

LOVE SMASH
I am so grateful for this awesome, silly, ridiculous family of mine. Each Thanksgiving, we attempt at some family photos. It was cold and windy, but we did it. I'm so glad each of my siblings were there this year, and that we were able to spend time together eating, laughing, talking for hours, playing with our kids, and attempting a game of football. It's always full of sarcasm, love, and a bunch of conversations that we feel make us wise. Sure do love my family, and so glad everyone got to meet Remi over the Thanksgiving holiday. Idaho this time of year is my absolute favorite.
This year was everything I wanted out of Christmas. Chase and I were in Idaho with my family and it SNOWED! I was so happy to have a white Christmas at home :). My parents decorated in all places I remember as a child and everything looked so cute! They even got their tree from the mountains this year which I thought was really fun.
On Christmas Eve the sisters and our husbands were on our way to a hot spring when it began DUMPING white fluffy flakes! The roads got too dangerous so we had to turn around and go back home which was sort of a bummer. But we ended up going home and baking all day while the boys made the most ginormous snowman! We were so impressed, they even got him a cute pipe. It too bad we didn't get a picture of it till Christmas morning when he had melted a bit and lost parts of his face and began to lean haha.
Christmas Eve night, the extended fam came over and we had our yummy dinner. I LOVE that back counter in my parents kitchen for obvious reasons, TREATS! We relaxed by the first and listened to Christmas music and stayed up super late. Christmas morning Kylie and I were the only kids that stayed at our parents house so we woke up together with our husbands and ran to our stockings like giddy children. Together we opened our presents and then waited for the rest of our family to arrive and finished. It's so fun watching our nieces and nephews pure excitement. Kids truly make the holidays so fun. After presents we ate cinnamon rolls and hung out in pajamas all day. Eventually, that night we made it to the movie theatre to see Star Wars. It was such a fun and relaxing time to be home with family for a week.
The day after Christmas some kind of epidemic hit our family because slowly but surely people starting getting the flu! It was such a bummer! It started with my nephew Peter and trickled on through almost all of us. Unfortunately I was the first adult to get sick. So my day after Christmas was spent throwing up instead of skiing with my family. Huge bummer :(. On the bright side I was well enough to drive home to California the next day and my mom took care of me just like the good ole' days. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying the new year!
