california lovin'

a last minute trip to LA?! i'll take it! i found out i was going to ky's house the night before i was supposed to fly out. my friend alex texted me about wanting to hang out while i was visiting california, but i informed her that our plans fell through and that the trip wasn't going to happen. but out of curiosity, i called my sister megan to verify. and to my surprise, a flight was already booked for me the next morning! wahoo, what a party! so off to LA i went to meet up with my sisters to film for my brother in law's company le parcel, and hang out with some good friends.

when we weren't filming, we were spending our days fighting traffic to get to the beach! the boys surfed county line in malibu while us girls chatted away on the beach. admiring baby van while watching him discover the sand and do his first peace sign was adorable. of course i loaded alex with a ba-jillion prego questions, hoping that i look as beautiful as she does when my day comes. then since one beach day isn't enough, we visited dana point in san clemente for a le parcel gathering and some more fun surf with friends. megs caught her first waves since having her baby while van and i watched proudly from the beach. can't wait to see baby van shred!
