Walking around the hot desert to check out these two landmarks is totally worth the adventure! Especially when you're with family that you love :). Anything is more fun when you have your best friends at your side!

Monster Rock is often re-painted per tradition by the local artists in Alabama Hills and Mobius Arch is just cool looking. They are both well-known landmarks to capture cool photos with Mt. Whitney in the background. Still blows my mind that you can be walking around in the hot desert and look in the near distance and see a snow covered mountain. Gotta love mother nature and all her beauty.
